Great to meet you!

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with doctoral training in pharmacology and advanced expertise in psychiatric medications. I provide psychotherapy and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults in Arkansas, Arizona, Iowa, Kansas, and Nevada. My practice focuses on mood disorders, anxiety, trauma related conditions, ADHD, and complex medication management.

My background spans pharmacology research, clinical practice, leadership, and education, with an in-depth foundation in psychopharmacology. This expertise informs how I evaluate medication options, anticipate interactions and side effects, and tailor treatment to each person’s symptoms, medical history, and treatment experiences.

My therapeutic approach emphasizes understanding emotional and behavioral patterns, developing practical coping skills, and navigating relationships and life stressors. Whether we work together through therapy, medication management, or both, I take time to understand your concerns and develop a collaborative treatment plan that reflects your needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, solution oriented, and collaborative. I look at the whole person, not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. That includes mental health, physical health, sleep, stress, life circumstances, and past experiences. We work together to identify practical steps that can improve how you feel and function. Medications are used thoughtfully and only when they make sense for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is focused on listening and understanding. We will review your history, current concerns, medications, and goals for treatment. You can expect thoughtful questions, clear explanations, and a plan that makes sense. By the end of the visit, you should have a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your symptoms and what the next steps are moving forward.
