Great to meet you!

The relationship between a therapist and a client is essential to successful therapy. In therapy, it is important that you, as the client, feel safe and comfortable. Special emphasis on “Safe”. When a person decides to allow me to assist them with their therapeutic journey, I feel honored as the journey you are about to take is a very personal journey. I bring over 30 years of experience in the mental health/medical field. Due to my eclectic background, I utilize multiple evidenced-based therapeutic interventions to present to you a customized treatment modality to meet your diverse needs. Because of my Pre-Med training, my approach to the therapy experience has a focus on the “Body and Mind” connection or a systemic approach to the problem-resolution process. I am licensed in Oregon and Washington.

My approach to therapy

As a Therapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist, I offer the following services: Marital/Couples; LGBT, Geriatrics; Grief; Anger management; Stress management, Childhood abuse/Neglect issues; Self-hypnosis/Relaxation, Anxiety, Depression, Self-esteem, Phobias, PTSD; Hospice; Ethnic/Cultural/Racial/Diversity; Work place stress; Spiritual counseling

What you can expect from me

For our first session, you’ll have the opportunity to share what you feel comfortable sharing with me. I do know that I am a stranger to you. So I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable and safe. From there, we will walk together on this journey of self-discovery.
