Great to meet you!

I have always been fascinated by the human brain and why we do what we do. have worked in criminal justice, private psych, medical social work, and therapy. My background in social work has made me a better therapist as I excel in resourcing and problem-solving. Helping people navigate through this crazy thing we call life and helping to make that navigation a little bit easier is what drives me to do this work. Life is hard. We all need a little help and support to get through it.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has the right to have a place where they feel safe, unjudged, and themselves, and can trust the person they are sharing their heaviest and most personal issues with, and if that is anywhere, it should be in the therapy space. I am trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, allowing me to individualize treatment, pulling from all of them to make sure I am using what works best and playing to their strengths to help them heal and cope with all aspects of life in a healthier way.

What you can expect from me

My first objective is to make you feel as comfortable as possible. It is incredibly difficult to be open and talk about your deepest and darkest and so I like to create a very accepting and laid-back environment. As we get into it, I use a mix of empathy and compassion while also being straightforward and direct when thoughts and beliefs need to be challenged.
