Great to meet you!

Life has a way of changing us, sometimes in ways we never expected. My passion is helping people navigate those moments with compassion, clarity, and confidence.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), I believe healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about reconnecting with the person you've always been beneath the stress, pain, burnout, or life transitions.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, overwhelming stress, relationship challenges, grief, substance use recovery, or simply feeling stuck, I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can be yourself. You don't have to have all the answers before you walk through my door.

My clients often describe me as genuine, compassionate, easy to talk to, and someone who isn't afraid to bring a little humor into the healing process. I believe therapy can be both meaningful and approachable. Sometimes the most powerful moments happen after we've laughed together.

Above all, I want you to know this:

You don't have to navigate life's journey alone.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a partnership—not a lecture.

Every person comes with a unique story, so I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Together, we'll explore what's been weighing on you, identify your strengths, and create practical strategies that fit your life.

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in evidence-based practices, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Mindfulness and stress-reduction techniques
  • Strengths-based and person-centered therapy

I strive to create an environment where you feel safe enough to be honest, challenged enough to grow, and supported enough to keep moving forward.

Healing isn't about perfection.

It's about progress.

My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build healthier coping skills, strengthen your relationships, and develop the confidence to navigate life's challenges with resilience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you—not judging you.

Think of it as the beginning of a conversation rather than an interrogation.

We'll spend time talking about:

  • What brought you to therapy
  • The challenges you're currently facing
  • Your personal history and life experiences
  • Your strengths and support system
  • What you hope to gain from therapy

You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and share anything that's important for me to know. There's no pressure to tell your entire life story during the first appointment. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

By the end of our session, we'll begin identifying goals and create a plan that reflects what matters most to you.

My hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, understood, and encouraged—with the reassurance that healing is possible and you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
