Great to meet you!

With years of psychiatric experience, I focus on care that goes well beyond a quick check-in. My practice centers on older adults and people navigating long-term mental health needs, and I bring both medication management and psychotherapy into our work together because the two rarely belong apart. When we first meet, I set aside 45 to 60 minutes because your story, your history, and your life context matter to me. I practice via telehealth in Maryland and typically see established clients monthly so I can stay close to how things are evolving for you. Being present for you when things feel urgent is something I take seriously.

My approach to therapy

I don't do quick med checks. My approach starts with genuinely listening and understanding who you are as a whole person before anything else. I combine medication and therapy in most sessions because real progress usually needs both. I am warm, thorough, and curious about what makes you who you are, and I bring that into every appointment.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a real conversation, not a form-fill. I set aside 45 to 60 minutes to learn your history, your current challenges, and what you're hoping to get from care. You won't feel rushed. By the end, we will have a clear sense of where to start and what working together will look like going forward.
