Great to meet you!

My name is Alissa, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Perinatal Mental Health Specialist. I specialize in working with young adults, individuals in the perinatal phase (pregnancy, birth, postpartum) and people experiencing anxiety, life transitions, parenting, and relationship/family challenges.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is relational, curious, warm, and collaborative. Blending evidenced based practices including Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with an anti-oppression framework, we work to explore challenges, build off existing inner resources, learn new skills and identify a path forward. My ultimate goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and supported - to notice positive internal changes and experience a better quality of life.

What you can expect from me

In a judgement-free space you can except our first session to identify what brings you to therapy, goals to keep us connected to the work and discuss how we will know therapy is working. Typical sessions are flexible, organic and with attention and focus on what brings you to therapy. We will build off existing resources, identify new skills and build a path forward.
