Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in supporting people through grief and loss, medical and caregiving stress, relationship issues, anxiety, and major life transitions. Additionally, I am certified in ERP for working with individuals struggling with OCD. I am currently being trained in the Gottman Method for couples counseling. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, with an emphasis on creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so I draw from different therapeutic approaches based on your needs, goals, and what feels most helpful to you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin to understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what feels most important to you right now, and what you hope will be different as a result of therapy.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current circumstances, relationships, and strengths, while also making space for you to share what feels most important. We’ll begin identifying goals for our work together, but there is no expectation that you have everything figured out before we meet.

Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and respected. Therapy is a collaborative process, and the first session is also a chance for you to get a sense of whether I’m the right fit for you. We’ll work together to determine where to begin and what approach will be most helpful moving forward.
