Great to meet you!

I have been providing counseling services for over 20 years. My experience started during my internships working with children in the juvenile justice system and then working with domestic violence survivors. After graduating with my Master's degree, I spent 3 years working at a domestic violence shelter, overseeing case management and children's services while completing my counseling license. I then spent 12 years working in education, providing crisis counseling services. Since leaving education in 2019, I have provided teletherapy to adults and teens ages 16 and older, with a focus on trauma, chronic illness, educators, first responders, veterans, and college students.

Personally, I bring life experience to my work as well. I have been married for over 20 years, a mom to a daughter with multiple chronic illnesses, and I enjoy spending time with family. I enjoy spending time with my pets or reading in my spare time.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy centers on creating a safe, supportive space where you feel truly heard and understood. I believe your voice and perspective are essential, and together we’ll explore strategies for moving forward in ways that align with your needs and values. This is a confidential, non-judgmental environment where you can openly work through your concerns at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In your first therapy session, we’ll take time to discuss your background and the reasons you decided to seek therapy. We’ll explore what you hope to achieve and begin creating a plan that fits your unique needs. As our work continues, I’ll share tools and strategies designed to help you better understand your experiences and support your overall well-being.
