Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, and I want you to know that you don't have to have it all figured out before you even begin. My goal is to create an authentic therapeutic space where you feel seen and accepted just as you are.

My clinical orientation is grounded in relational-cultural therapy and interpersonal processing. These frameworks highlight how our relationships and connections with others can have a meaningful impact on our emotional well-being and overall quality of life. I believe that healing often happens through safe, authentic, and supportive relationships. Furthermore, our own lived experiences and social systems in which we are apart of both shape the way we see ourselves and navigate the world around us.

Finally, I have specialty training in specific evidence-based therapies such as Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT), Expressive Writing (EW), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a collaborative process. You are the expert on your own life, while I bring my professional expertise to help you better understand yourself, identify patterns that impact your life, and pinpoint where you want to make changes.

I work alongside my clients by offering a curious, compassionate perspective with open and honest feedback when clinically appropriate.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what you hope to get out of therapy, and what you would like to be different in your life.

You can also expect questions about your history, relationships, and current circumstances so that I can better understand the bigger picture. You don’t need to know exactly what you need or have a perfectly defined goal—we can figure that out together.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can be your authentic self, make sense of your experiences, strengthen your relationships, and develop a deeper sense of connection—with yourself and with the people who matter to you.
