Great to meet you!

I'm Allura, an LCMHC and LPC with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and over 14 years of clinical experience. I offer telehealth therapy to adolescents and adults across North Carolina and South Carolina, specializing in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, family issues, identity, and women's wellness. I draw from CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing — blending evidence-based approaches with depth psychology and creative expression to help clients live their most authentic, joyful lives.

My approach to therapy

I'm a pretty big personality — and I bring that energy into the therapy room. With a background in Communications and Fine Arts, I believe the first language of the soul is creative expression. Music, poetry, allegory, drawing, anime — if it's your medium, I'm in. I blend classical depth psychology with CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing, and incorporate family-centered and systems-based perspectives — especially when working with adolescents. My intent is a culturally affirming space where freedom of expression and freedom to explore the full range of human experience can truly flourish.

What you can expect from me

Our first session lays the groundwork for everything ahead. I believe every client is unique and deserves space to articulate their goals and expectations. From there, we'll put our heads together and build the most effective treatment plan to get you on your way to your most fulfilling life.
