Great to meet you!

I have been working in the field ever since I graduated from UMD School of Social Work in 2016. I began my career in community mental health working with individuals of all ages. I worked with a large variety of mental health diagnoses. After five years at my pervious clinic I decided to open my own practice. Currently I work with children, teens, and adults with a focus on neurodiversity (ADHD and Autism), Depression, and Anxiety. While this is my area of specialty I do still work with a variety of other issues Including but not limited to: life changes, LGBTQ and gender issues, school related issues, and job stress.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to provide a safe space for my clients to discuss the issues that most pressing to them. With a judgement free space clients can open up about what issues are causing them the most distress and learn new ways of thinking about and coping with these issues. over the course of treatment I will also help clients to identify patterns and process emotions.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to learn more about themselves and how their though processes impact their day to day life. Coping skills will be taught, practiced and mastered within the safety of the therapy room. This will allow clients to gain confidence with these skills in order to bring them into their daily life.
