Great to meet you!

Aloha! As a clinician with over 18 years of experience, my passion is working with children and families. Healthy families are the core unit of our society and can break negative patterns for ourselves and future generations, and I believe that early intervention can dramatically change the trajectory of a young person’s life. I feel privileged to help my clients achieve their goals and improve their lives by providing the professional guidance needed to navigate behavioral challenges, identity struggles, and family transitions.

I want my clients to feel safe and empowered during their time with me, knowing they have an experienced advocate committed to their success. My background as a UCLA graduate has allowed me to serve families across various life stages, from young children to adults navigating relationship hurdles. When I am not in the office, I find peace and restoration in the natural beauty of the islands, which keeps me grounded in my work.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy solution-focused work with a Christian perspective to help families live the full and abundant life that God intended. My approach is practical and collaborative, utilizing tools from Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address the root of behavioral or emotional concerns. I hope that my clients will be able to positively grow while working together by discovering new ways to communicate and support one another through life’s inevitable stressors.

We will focus on actionable strategies that you can take home and use immediately to improve school performance, resolve conflict, or build self-esteem. My goal is to help you move from a place of frustration to a position of confidence and family harmony. Clients should expect to feel heard and supported throughout our time together as we identify the goals that matter most to your unique family dynamic.

What you can expect from me

I'd love to hear your story and goals for our time together. I strive to create a safe environment for you to share, feel heard and where we can work together towards your identified goals. This first meeting is a low-pressure opportunity for us to get on the same page and ensure that you and your family feel completely comfortable with the therapeutic process.

Setting clear expectations and building a strong rapport is my main priority from day one. We will discuss the specific obstacles you are facing and begin to outline a roadmap that feels both safe and clear. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling a sense of relief and a renewed confidence that a more abundant, peaceful life is within reach for your family.
