Great to meet you!

With over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. As a fully licensed therapist, I bring both professional expertise and genuine care to every session.

Throughout my career, I have worked with people from many different backgrounds, helping them address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions. My approach is centered on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

What clients often appreciate most is my ability to truly listen and meet them where they are. I believe healing and growth happen when people feel supported and understood. My role is to help clients gain clarity, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen resilience, and rediscover their personal strengths.

Over the years, I have seen how powerful change can be when someone is given the right tools, encouragement, and guidance. My experience allows me to draw from a wide range of therapeutic approaches to best meet each client’s unique needs.

My commitment is simple: to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and a more balanced, fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. With over 30 years of experience as a fully licensed therapist, I believe that every person has the ability to grow, heal, and find balance when they are given the right support and tools.

I work to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. I believe that feeling heard and understood is one of the most important parts of the healing process.

My work focuses on helping clients:

  • Gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors
  • Develop healthy coping skills for stress, anxiety, and life challenges
  • Strengthen self-awareness and emotional resilience
  • Improve relationships and communication
  • Navigate difficult life transitions with confidence

I take a collaborative approach, meaning we work together to identify goals and create practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change. Every individual’s journey is unique, so I tailor my approach to meet each client’s specific needs, strengths, and life experiences.

Above all, I believe therapy should empower clients. My goal is to help people discover their inner strengths, build confidence, and move forward in their lives with clarity, hope, and purpose.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and respected.

During the first visit, we will talk about what brought you to therapy and what challenges or concerns you may be experiencing. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. There is no pressure—this is your space and your time.

We will also discuss:

  • Your personal history and current life circumstances
  • Any emotional, mental, or life challenges you may be facing
  • Your goals for therapy and what you hope to gain from the process
  • Questions you may have about therapy or how I work

This first session also helps me better understand how I can support you and what approaches may be most helpful for your needs.
