Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Alyse, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with over 6 years of extensive experience helping adults navigate trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, life transitions and PTSD. I've supported people through some of their hardest seasons — including the overwhelm and burnout that often come with unrelenting stress, and the lingering effects of trauma and post-traumatic stress. My background includes private practice, crisis intervention, community mental health, addiction treatment, and leadership in behavioral health. I’m trained in evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Seeking Safety. Most importantly, I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment—and feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, authentic, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe enough to be honest, but also supported and challenged as you work toward meaningful change. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care, tailoring treatment to you rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. When it is important to you, I’m also comfortable incorporating faith and spirituality into our work.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you—not judging you or expecting you to have everything figured out. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope will be different in your life. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and specific to you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful that you don’t have to navigate everything alone.
