Great to meet you!

I work with people who feel overwhelmed, trapped in a cycle of relentless self-criticism, and exhausted from constantly pushing through their lives. Many of the people I support are survivors of sexual trauma, anxious perfectionists looking for relief from their inner critic, and therapists and caregivers who feel overwhelmed by how much they’re carrying, and want things to feel lighter.

My approach is collaborative, somatic, integrative, and creative. We slow things down, pay attention to your thoughts, emotions, and physical responses, and focus on finding ways to respond that bring more relief and don’t drain you, even in times of uncertainty.

My approach to therapy

My integrative and holistic approach incorporates mindfulness, expressive techniques, and an understanding of how the body responds to emotions and experiences, increasing somatic awareness, which is particularly beneficial for survivors of sexual trauma. We'll co-create a space where you can develop new insights, habits and tools for living a life that is not dictated by your past. Your needs will be at the center of all of the work we do together

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll prioritize your comfort and focus on creating a supportive environment. Our conversation will center on your reasons for seeking therapy and addressing your concerns. I'll ask questions to understand your experiences, needs and goals. There is no pressure to disclose everything in the first session. At the end, we'll check in to see how the session went for you and plan care practices for the week ahead. We'll adjust our structure based on your preferences.
