Great to meet you!

In my over 20-year career, I have worked with adults and teens coping with and adapting to change, managing stress and uncertainty, and enhancing self-confidence and self-efficacy. I have extensive experience in matters related to codependence, anxiety and trauma.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and strength-based. I believe in meeting clients where they are, being honest and real, and examining the entire picture. I feel it is important to consider mind, body and environment in determining what is realistic and doable for everyday life. You can expect me to be straightforward, calm and supportive while we work together to build habits and perspectives that support the life you want. My hope is to keep therapy genuine and useful, not overly clinical or distant.

What you can expect from me

Our first session should serve as an opportunity to slow-down and focus on you; what has been feeling difficult and what has been working. We can discuss what you would like to focus on and progress at a pace that feels manageable to you. My hope is that you would leave our first session feeling heard, supported and part of a team.
