Great to meet you!

My name is Amanda, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, Massachusetts, and Nevada. I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and in Criminology, and completed my Masters in Social Work from the University of Central Florida.

My professional background includes over 16 years in a crisis stabilization setting; working with individuals dealing with work related struggles negatively impacting their mental health; and with at-risk youth in the school system.

My approach to therapy

My training includes various modalities, but my approach is often person-centered, strength-based, and solution-focused. I am always seeking to learn more in all areas, in effort to provide the best support that I can to the individuals that I work with. Every person is unique! I do not follow a “one size fits all” approach to interventions.

What you can expect from me

I believe it is important that as a client you feel empowered, safe, and comfortable in a therapy session. As a client, you help set the tone for the session. Presenting issues can change, and we will focus on what is most important in that moment. Homework is often assigned for continued work following a session.
