Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) with over 12 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. My clinical work spans a wide range of needs, from individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness to those navigating situational or life-transition–related challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work from Salisbury University in Maryland and my PhD in social work from Widener University in Pennsylvania. My practice is grounded in both advanced clinical training and rigorous academic scholarship. In addition to my clinical work, I am an academic and educator. I have the privilege of teaching and mentoring future social workers, and strive to bring real-world practice experience into the classroom. Additionally, as a mother of three, I have a deep appreciation for the complexities of family systems and, when appropriate, incorporate what I have learned from my own lived experiences into my professional roles.

My approach to therapy

I approach my work with clients through a lens of openness, empowerment, and collaboration, with a strong commitment to anti-oppressive and trauma-informed care. My integrative clinical approach draws from a variety of evidence-based frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, among others.

What you can expect from me

Clients attending their first session can expect a supportive and compassionate environment focused on building therapeutic trust and professional rapport. While sessions may include thoughtful questions and clinical reflection, my work is rooted most importantly in active listening, empathy, and creating space for my clients to feel heard, respected, and empowered in their own healing process.
