Great to meet you!

While completing my graduate degree in Social Work at St. Cloud State University, I was afforded the opportunity of interning in the Minnesota prison system and have been working there ever since graduation. As I expand to private practice, I hope to continue working with those impacted by incarceration, as well as expanding to other groups of individuals seeking to improve on their goals towards a better self.

My approach to therapy

I believe in meeting someone where they are at and walking alongside in someone's journey opposed to trying to lead. I strive to foster a therapeutic relationship that feels genuine and relatable while also challenging my clients to continue to move forward, even when it is hard. While I love what I do, my ultimate goal is to no longer be needed by my client.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will discuss what it is that brought you in as well as what it is you are looking to get out of therapy. The therapeutic alliance is an important piece of the work we do together, so I want to make sure you feel it is a good fit and allow for any questions and concerns that you may have.
