I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and have the privilege of training with the founder of Equine Partnered Play Therapy! I've been working with families and kiddos for a long time, but taking play therapy to the pasture and including miniature horses is a game changer.
In Equine Partnered Play Therapy, I will provide a safe and permissive place for your child to work through their challenges in their primary language--play! Including a miniature horse in therapy provides an opportunity for connection between the horse and the child and opportunities for in the moment learning and growth.
When children are allowed to use their primary language of play to work through their challenges, they gain the ability to regulate their feelings and emotions.
