Great to meet you!

Hi my name is Amanda Wilk and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 3 years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about working with young adults and adults to address the challenges that these phases of life bring. I specialize in anxiety, OCD, ADHD, relationship issues, and major life transitions.

I completed my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health at Holy Family University and completed my Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice at Widener University. I utilize multiple different therapeutic approaches in my work, mainly using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and more.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, my approach is warm and welcoming, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected from the very beginning. I believe in empowering individuals to recognize their own strengths and inner resources, supporting them in navigating challenges with confidence and clarity. While we’ll do meaningful work together, I also bring a touch of humor into the process—because sometimes, a little laughter can be just as healing as deep reflection. My goal is to foster a collaborative, supportive environment where growth feels both possible and personal.

What you can expect from me

You can expect during our first session together to establish a therapeutic connection, gain background information, and discuss your goals for treatment. The first session can often be the most anxiety producing for clients and my goal is to make it as comfortable and safe as possible.
