Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 10 years of experience helping adults navigate mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, stress, and sleep difficulties. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered to take an active role in your mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized, with a focus on understanding you as a whole person rather than simply treating symptoms. I combine evidence-based medication management with psychotherapy techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and supportive therapy, based on your individual needs and goals. I believe in shared decision-making and take time to listen, provide education, and ensure you feel comfortable and actively involved in your treatment. Together, we will develop a practical treatment plan that supports lasting emotional well-being and improved quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share your concerns at your own pace. We will discuss your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and treatment goals to understand your unique needs better. Together, we will identify priorities and develop an individualized treatment plan that may include psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clear about the next steps in your care.
