Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm a licensed mental health therapist (LIMHP, LPC) and a registered art therapist (ATR) with many years of experience in the mental health field. Many of my clients come to me carrying anxiety, the lingering effects of trauma or PTSD, low self-esteem, questions about identity, or the stress of relationships, family, and medical concerns that just won't let up. I provide strong, affirming support to the LGBTQIA+ community, including clients exploring polyamory, gender identity, and sexual orientation. My goal is for you to leave therapy with more emotional well-being, peace, and comfort in your own life, on your terms.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, collaborative, and centered on you. As a registered art therapist, I bring creative and expressive work into the room when it can help you reach something words alone can't quite get to. Beyond that, I draw on person-centered care, positive psychology, Gestalt, and motivational interviewing, choosing the right tools based on what you actually need from session to session. Together we focus on building new skills, leaning into your existing strengths, and finding practical ways to navigate whatever is in front of you. There's no one-size-fits-all here, just real work shaped around the person doing it.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about meeting each other and starting to build trust. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to. We'll talk through what's been going on, the symptoms or challenges you're navigating, and why you're seeking support right now. That conversation gives us a foundation to start setting goals that actually matter to you. You'll also leave with practical resources you can begin using in daily life, so the work doesn't stay confined to the therapy room.
