Hi there! I’m Kaelee Salmans, an independently licensed mental health practitioner with over five years of experience in the mental health field. I graduated with my M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Hope International University in 2019 and from there I have had the opportunities to work in crisis response, community mental health, private practice, and secure mental health units, giving me a well-rounded perspective on trauma and its lasting effects.
I specialize in supporting and creating a compassionate, grounded space for any individual navigating the complex effects of trauma, mental health conditions, and the burdens of day to day life. I believe that healing begins with feeling safe, seen, and supported — and that from that place, resilience can grow.

I work with children and adults from a variety of backgrounds, helping them cope with many life challenges or different diagnoses. I often use mindfulness principles and tapping to help individuals process emotions related to trauma or chronic issues. I also incorporate Internal Family Systems at times. When I am working in person with children I also use play and art as tools in therapy.
