Great to meet you!

Healing is a journey that requires a supportive, empowering, and authentic foundation. As a professional therapist, my background is rooted in helping individuals break free from the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and disconnected from their true selves. I earned my Master’s degree from Clark Atlanta University, and as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide culturally responsive, inclusive teletherapy for adults aged 21 and older across Georgia, Maine, and Nebraska.

In my practice, I specialize in treating the interconnected challenges of anxiety, low self-esteem, and chronic people pleasing. I am deeply passionate about working with individuals who find themselves constantly overextending for others at the expense of their own well being. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, managing daily stress, or trying to break the cycle of self-doubt, my goal is to provide a relatable, safe, and empowering space where you feel truly heard, understood, and supported as a whole person.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is active, collaborative, and solution focused. I do not believe in just sitting back and silently nodding. Instead, I bring a warm, direct, and occasionally humorous style to our sessions, ensuring you feel completely safe while also being gently challenged to grow. Rather than engaging in open ended, years long analysis, we focus on short term, intentional goals specifically designed to help you dismantle deep seated self doubt, overcome the fear of rejection, and master the art of setting healthy boundaries. To support this highly dedicated, focused level of care, my practice prioritizes private pay and out of network arrangements at a standard rate of $150 per session. If I am out of network for your specific insurance provider, we can easily utilize Headway to instantly verify your out of network benefits and automatically submit your claims for direct reimbursement, removing all the paperwork hassle.

To help you create meaningful and lasting change, I use a personalized approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Every session is tailored to your unique goals, helping you uncover your innate strengths, deepen your self awareness, and establish forward moving momentum that feels completely authentic and sustainable.

If you are ready to stop venting and start actively transforming your patterns, I look forward to connecting with you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a sixty minute intake designed to build a genuine connection, establish safety, and get a clear picture of where you are right now. Starting therapy can feel daunting, so we use this initial hour to ease into your story at a pace that feels completely secure for you, ensuring you never feel rushed as we explore what brought you here.

By the end of our first session together, you will gain a deeper insight into the challenges you are facing, whether that is navigating heavy anxiety, managing daily stress, or breaking the cycle of chronic people pleasing. Together, we will outline a collaborative framework for your immediate goals so you know exactly how we plan to tackle them.

Most importantly, you will leave our initial telehealth session with compassionate support, a sense of relief, and at least one practical tool or perspective shift you can use right away to begin building momentum toward the life you want.
