Great to meet you!

If you're a teen or young adult feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, pressure to have it all figured out, or a heaviness you can't quite name, you're not alone. Whether you're navigating school stress, friendships, family tension, identity, or just the weight of growing up, this is a space to slow down and work through it. Reaching out for help is one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults, and I consider it a privilege when someone lets me into what they're carrying

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me doesn't feel like being talked at. We'll start by figuring out together what's actually weighing on you and what you'd want to be different, then build from there. Some sessions might be working through a specific situation that came up that week. Others might be slowing down to look at patterns that keep showing up. I lean toward a collaborative, conversational style, because the teens and young adults I work with usually don't need another adult telling them what to do. They need someone in their corner helping them figure out their own next move.

What you can expect from me

It's normal to feel nervous before a first session. You don't need to come in with the "right words" or a clear sense of what's wrong. Our first time together will mostly be a conversation. I'll ask a little about what's been going on, what brought you here, and what you're hoping might be different. There's no homework, no test, and no pressure to share anything you're not ready to. By the end, we'll talk about what working together could look like and decide if it feels like a fit.
