Great to meet you!

I look forward to being a part of your journey!

I have worked with children, youth, adults and families for nine years. As a trauma focused therapist, I am honored to help you discover what your healing process looks like by helping identify stressors, triggers and barriers. My viewpoint is that each client be treated compassionately and feel seen, heard, and supported. My primary focus is to help identify your strengths and assist in navigating through anxiety, grief, depression, past trauma, relationship challenges, or work life balance stressors. These may be impacting your ability to achieve optimum mental and emotional health. Therapy is a collaborative journey. I will support you and meet you with empathy, care, and dignity as we create a path forward that honors your unique needs and strengths at a pace that is comfortable and authentic for you. I look forward to joining you on your journey and providing you with a new sense of hope.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and cultural responsiveness. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and empowered to explore your experiences without judgment. I integrate evidence-based modalities tailored to your unique needs, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, solution focused therapy, mindfulness, and relational frameworks.

I believe that one of the most important predictors in the success of therapy is the therapeutic relationship, which is the collaborative and trusting bond between the therapist and the client. Through cultivating a healthy therapeutic relationship, you are treated with respect, empathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude, which creates a safe space to discuss concerns openly.

One that honors your pace, values your lived experience, and supports your growth through reflection, emotional insight, and skill-building. I maintain a strong commitment to ethical practice, self-awareness, and ongoing learning, ensuring that my work remains attuned to both individual and systemic factors that shape mental health.

Above all, I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of a therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and hope. This relationship is a foundation for you to explore and address your issues, facilitating personal growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out is the first step in the therapy journey. I truly admire the courage it took in seeking help. During the first session, we will collaborate on one to two initial goals that feel relevant and attainable. I invite you to share personal background, current stressors, and whatever feels relevant, You decide the pace and together we will create a plan that will help you in achieving your goals and living the life you deserve one step at a time.
