Great to meet you!

I take a client-centered approach to therapy and believe that getting to know you, your priorities, and your goals is one of the most important parts of the work we do together. I often support people who feel like they are at a crossroads in life, whether they are managing caregiver stress, navigating family relationship challenges, or trying to make sense of a difficult season of change. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work toward meaningful growth.

I believe therapy works best when it starts with a strong understanding of who you are, what matters most to you, and what you hope to change or strengthen in your life. I enjoy working with individuals who are facing major decisions, life transitions, or emotionally demanding roles, including caregiving and family-related stress. In our work together, I strive to offer a calm, supportive environment where you can speak openly, feel validated in your experiences, and begin identifying clear, meaningful steps toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, conversational, and collaborative. I want therapy to feel approachable and grounded, while also helping you build insight and make practical progress. I use CBT and solution-focused techniques, and I take an eclectic approach that allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs and strengths. I also value the ways personal experiences shape who we are, and I believe those experiences can be meaningful tools for reflection, healing, and change.

I especially enjoy supporting clients who are dealing with caregiver stress, family relationship concerns, and seasons of transition where life feels uncertain or emotionally heavy. I work well with people who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or pulled in different directions and are looking for support in understanding their emotions, improving communication, and making thoughtful decisions about next steps.

What you can expect from me

The aim of our first session is to offer an intentional space that feels safe, conversational, and easy to settle into as we begin getting to know one another. My focus is to get to know you, understand what feels most important in your life right now, and learn more about the challenges, priorities, and goals that are bringing you in. I also believe that personal experiences often hold important clues about the history behind the struggles we face today. In our work together, we may begin exploring not only what is feeling difficult in the present, but also the experiences, patterns, and relationships that may have shaped those challenges over time. My hope is that clients leave the first session feeling supported, with a clearer sense of direction and a stronger understanding of where healing can begin.
