Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Ambria Brights, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, better understand your emotions and patterns, and develop tools that support meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered, with a focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to be authentic. I integrate humanistic, psychodynamic, narrative, and emotion-regulation approaches to help clients explore underlying patterns, process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop practical coping and communication skills. I have a particular interest in supporting clients navigating trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, conflict, and significant life transitions.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment where we take time to get to know one another, discuss what brought you to therapy, and identify the concerns and goals you would like to address. We will begin developing a treatment plan that is individualized to your needs while exploring practical steps toward greater emotional awareness, healthier coping, and meaningful change. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and confident that we have a clear direction for our work together.
