Great to meet you!

Finding a therapist you feel comfortable talking to can make all the difference. I believe therapy should be a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself, speak openly, and feel heard without fear of judgment.

I'm a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) with 21 years of experience helping people navigate life's challenges, changes, and everything in between. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I want our sessions to feel like a genuine conversation where you don't have to have all the answers or even know where to start.

Clients often tell me how comfortable they feel opening up about things they've never shared before. Building that trust is important to me because it's where meaningful growth and change begin.

Together, we'll explore what's weighing on you, identify what's keeping you stuck, and find practical ways to help you move forward.

I offer telehealth sessions with evening availability because taking care of yourself should fit into your life, not add more stress to it.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on moving forward. I believe you already have strengths and resources, even when it doesn’t feel that way, and my job is to help you find them and put them to work.

I draw primarily from:

  • Solution-focused therapy: We focus less on dissecting every problem and more on what’s working, what you want, and the practical steps that will get you there.
  • Motivational interviewing: If you’re feeling stuck or unsure about making a change, we’ll explore that together, at your pace and on your terms.
  • Strengths-based CBT: We’ll look at the thoughts and patterns that keep you stuck and build new ones grounded in what you already do well.

You set the direction. I bring the structure, the tools, and an honest, caring perspective.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other. I’ll ask what brought you to therapy, what’s happening in your life right now, and what you’d like to be different. You don’t need to have it all figured out or know where to start; we’ll figure that out together.

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. By the end of our time, you’ll have a sense of your goals, a starting plan, and a feel for whether we’re a good fit. You’re welcome to ask me anything along the way.
