Great to meet you!

Welcome to my practice! I am an LCSW psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working in various roles in community mental health settings and acute mental healthcare. I bring intellectual and emotional competence, integrity, ethics, and empathy to my work, fostering compassionate and collaborative mental health care for individuals who are struggling. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, OCD, and psychotic disorders.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is warm, direct, curious, supportive, and gently challenging. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, grief and loss, mood disorders, and OCD.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we build an understanding of who you are and how we can work together to create change. We will begin by asking three basic questions: What's wrong? What do you hope to gain in therapy with me? How are we going to do this work together? Therapeutic alliance is more than just "clicking" with your therapist; we start building alliance in our first session by creating a collaborative agreement on what areas of difficulty we are targeting in our work and how we will work together to help you be your most authentic self.
