Great to meet you!

Welcome! I have been treating adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, self-defeating behaviors, relationship problems, and more for over 21 years; I am a certified substance abuse counselor as well (CAADC). I use a blend of approaches such as CBT, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), mindful self-compassion, and various trauma treatments.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate and strengths-based, and I work in partnership with you. As a therapist who is a Christian, I believe that principles, values and teachings from the Bible provide the strongest foundation for hope, healing, growth and overall well-being. For those interested in exploring this, I will provide that opportunity.

What you can expect from me

I will start by gathering important information about you. This includes not only your background, experiences and current circumstances, but also what you are struggling with, what you would like to be different, and what you would most desire to get from your therapy. This will lead to setting therapy goals and objectives, and using helpful treatment strategies to work towards those goals.
