Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed therapist and somatic experiencing practitioner. I work with people who are tired of living in their head, emotionally overwhelmed and stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we’ll focus on what’s holding you back and work through it using both conversation and gentle, body-based tools that help your nervous system settle, so you can feel more grounded and at ease. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcoming.

A native Arkansan, I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Chicago in 2003. Over the years, I have worked in private practice, inpatient and outpatient programs, hospital settings, and organizational development.

My approach to therapy

My style as a therapist is warm, direct, and down-to-earth. Therapy with me isn’t just about talking things through—it's also about paying to physical responses to stress and pain so that you can heal and become more resilient. I am a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).

What you can expect from me

I offer a free 15 minute consultation for you to be able to ask or discuss any questions. In our first session, we will focus on what has brought you to seek therapy, what you hope therapy will provide and discuss the best ways to get you there.
