So far in my career, I've worked in a residential setting with female survivors of trafficking and exploitation, community mental health, private practice, support lines, and in insurance. Each setting brings different needs, but all have shown me how resilient people are and how anyone can change their life when they're ready.
I take a collaborative approach with clients to help explore where you are and where you want go. While I rarely take a fully directive approach I will thoughtfully challenge perceptions from an outside perspective to encourage self growth. I try to tailor each session and relationship to the individual. There is no one size fits all approach.
First sessions are about getting a better understanding of what brings you here, now, and what your hope is for this work. It's a chance to ask and answer questions and get to know each other. I must pass the vibe check for you!
