Great to meet you!

I can only accept insurance for individuals with a history of or current substance use diagnoses.

I love using movement and the connection to the body to explore our current states and different parts of ourselves, explore where we want to go and how we want to be in this world, and processing through the wounds we have sustained in this life. Helping fellow travelers in this life get unstuck from toxic thinking patterns, habits, and belief systems is a passion of mine.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a Board Certified Dance/movement Therapist, I am interested in how we hold our experiences and emotions in our bodies and help my clients connect to and express that using movement, meditative, and guided practices. I also use Internal Family Systems to address stuck feelings and places that my clients experience. I assist my clients in setting specific goals for our time together and keep the work on track during a session.

What you can expect from our first session

In your first session we will talk about what you would like to see happen in your life and set goals for our time together. We will discuss how much movement, if any, you would like to incorporate into your sessions, what that can look like, and set up agreements with each other to ensure we stay on track with our work. Clients leave their sessions feeling supported, cared for, and with clear action steps that they can work on for the time in between our sessions.
