Great to meet you!

I am a culturally competent Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of counseling experience in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, hospice and a county mental health agency. I have an M.S. in Psychology. My areas of greatest expertise are grief counseling, relationships, and stress management. I also work with clients experiencing other issues including anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, parenting challenges and low self-esteem.

My approach to therapy

I consider myself primarily a humanistic and cognitive behavioral therapist. However, therapy should be a collaborative process adapted to an individual’s needs and what works best for them.

What you can expect from me

I work to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable and safe. We will work together to use your strengths combined with evidence based techniques to make the changes you seek in your life. I will provide transparency throughout the process, so you are informed and know what to expect. All sessions are conducted in a private setting. I look forward to meeting you and starting your therapy!
