Great to meet you!

Hello,

I am a psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing individual therapy for adults. I have worked with the Department of Defense and the Veteran's administration. I also have a strong interest in the intersection of spirituality and psychology, and have completed training as a spiritual director with a focus on self psychology and a Jungian perspective. Aligning with our purpose and a sense of meaning is often a strong step towards greater mental health.

My approach to therapy

My areas of clinical interest include the military and Veteran populations, family of origin concerns, anxiety and mood disorders, the connection between spirituality and psychology, and the use of creativity and expressive arts to promote psychological health and healing. My approach to therapy employs a strength based perspective using cognitive, dynamic, and behavioral interventions. Treatment focuses on understanding the meaning of symptomatic behaviors as well as making behavioral change.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I complete an intake with a review of your psychological history and we discuss your goals for treatment.
