Amy Donnolo

Hi There! My name is Amy Donnolo, and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY and NC and Licensed Professional Counselor in SC. I'm originally from Long Island, NY, but recently followed my love for nature and hiking to North Carolina. I strive to create a calm, warm, and judgment-free atmosphere that welcomes self-exploration and healing. I have experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults through life transitions, anxiety, depression, OCD, and grief. I thrive on always wanting to learn more, and love to stay up to date on the most current best practices to support you in your journey.

Building connections with my clients is one of the most rewarding parts of my job, and a strong therapeutic relationship and a safe and supportive environment create space for true growth and healing to take place. Utilizing my training in CBT, DBT, and ACT through a trauma-informed lens creates a unique therapeutic approach for each of my clients.

I value a relaxed, down-to-earth approach to therapy and embracing the humanness of connecting with others.
