Amy Eaton Bustillos

I have a master's degree in psychiatric mental health nursing with board certification as a nurse practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience and 20 years in psychiatric care. I have worked in the substance use disorder, outpatient mental healthcare, and urgent care settings where I have treated clients of all ages with various mood, personality, developmental, psychotic, and substance use disorders during crisis and in both chronic/long-term and acute/immediate or short-term stages of treatment.

I work with clients to meet them where they are and support them according to their individual needs, towards a solution. I provide both psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management. I also have a strong medical background and collaborate with medical treatment providers to safely balance treatment needs for psychiatric and medical conditions.

Upon evaluation of biological, psychological, social, and occupational/academic history, I work with the client to identify needs and develop individual goals as well as steps towards meeting their goals through either therapy, medication, or both. I offer options based on my professional opinion and the client determines the direction of their own treatment plan.
