Great to meet you!

We all need support from time to time in our lives. I’m Amy Elizabeth and I am honored to be your guide on the daily journey of this being human and its mental, physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Hawai'i as well as a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and Certified Parent Coach.

  • As someone who focuses on sanity, sobriety, and serenity, I bring my best self to our sessions. Together, we shall explore what beliefs and behaviors might get in your way of having the life you want. Areas of professional focus include metabolizing grief, transitions, anxiety, relationships, and recovery from addictions and trauma.
  • I studied international relations and political science at UF with the intention to promote world peace. I later trained in Buddhist Psychology at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, and obtained my Master’s in Contemplative Psychotherapy in 2000. I learned peace is an inside job, we must start here.
  • I’m a published author and passionate presenter on healthy relationships. With over twenty-five years of experience in the field of psychology, I bring a wealth of resources to our sessions.

My mission is to spread Aloha, one relationship at a time.

My approach to therapy

You show up. I show up. Magic happens.

  1. Do you crave connection yet sometimes feel disconnected, misunderstood, or disrespected?
  2. Do you love solitude at times but end up alone, riddled with loneliness, and seduced by addictive behaviors? If so, you’re not alone. And seeking support is a sign of strength.

What you can expect from me

I’m Amy Elizabeth Gordon, and as someone who values the present moment, I know how important and precious your time is and what goes on your schedule.

  • In our first session, we'll review the therapeutic process and explore what brings you into therapy and your desired outcomes.
  • Each therapy session provides space to focus on what matters most to you. I support you to fully show up to the present moment as we explore meditation, navigate your challenges, cultivate your strengths, and create clear communication with six prompts.
  • You will grow your capacity to cultivate wonder, experience joy, and tolerate discomfort through self-regulation of your own nervous system.
