Great to meet you!

It's a pleasure to partner with you in improving your mental health! I have worked with clients at some of their most challenging times in their lives (both in inpatient and outpatient settings) and enjoy being able to assist people in seeing progress in their life through therapy.

About Me: I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology from Belmont Abbey College. I worked for 7 years after that with children with intellectual disabilities before attending Winthrop for my Masters in Social Work.

My approach to therapy

My practice utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist with recognizing, challenging, and replacing thoughts that do not work for you to believable and tolerable thoughts to reduce intolerable feelings. I am able to see why clients do the things that they do which has lead to clients feeling comfortable in situations where they have previously felt judged by others. I want clients to express themselves fully to me (no filter or censoring needed!).

What you can expect from me

I hope to partner with you in setting goals for therapy and creating a plan for how I can support you in attaining these goals. I hope to create an environment that challenges, empowers, and supports you.
