Great to meet you!

Congratulations on taking your first step into healing. It is not easy seeking out support but you are on your way to an exploration of self. As a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate the complex effects of trauma, depression and anxiety. I have worked in a range of settings, including community mental health, inpatient facilities, healthcare management, college counseling and private practice.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapeutic work is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and a belief in each person’s innate capacity for healing. I like to approach therapy with authenticity, validation and humor. My clinical practice primarily supports adults dealing with PTSD, generalized anxiety, depression, stress management and life transitions. I integrate evidence-based modalities with a strengths-based, client-centered approach, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs and goals. I believe in treating both the mind and the body.

What you can expect from me

I seek to create a warm, safe space where clients can explore their stories, develop healthier coping skills, and reclaim their sense of self. This is done through joining with individuals to explore how they can create change. Individuals will build a "tool box" of coping skills that they can use to address challenges and help them towards their goals.
