Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Amy, and I specialize in working with individuals ready to create meaningful change in their lives, particularly those navigating anxiety, complex trauma, childhood trauma, and relationship challenges. My clinical approach is flexible but primarily rooted in a Solution-Focused framework with a holistic lens, recognizing the connection between mind, body, environment, and relationships in the healing process. I believe healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about honoring your story, understanding what’s shaped you, and choosing how you want to move forward. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University and bring over 16 years of experience supporting individuals and couples. If you’re ready — or even just curious — about what’s possible for you, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

Hi! I'm Amy and I specialize in working with individuals who are ready to create meaningful change in their lives including those with anxiety, complex trauma, childhood trauma, or relationships.

My clinical approach is flexible, but is mainly rooted in a Solution-Focused framework with a holistic perspective. This just means that we identify a goal that emphasizes your existing strengths and resources to promote positive outcomes while taking into account how your mind, body, environment, and relationships all intersect in the healing process.

Healing isn’t always about fixing what’s broken — it’s about honoring where you’ve been, understanding what’s shaped you, and deciding how you want to move forward while working in a supportive, compassionate space where you feel safe, seen, and empowered to take those next steps.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Oakland University and I have more than 16 years of experience as a clinician with a variety of individuals and couples.

If you’re feeling ready — or even just curious — about what moving forward could look like for you, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a supportive, compassionate space where you feel safe, valued, and genuinely heard. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, clarify what matters most to you, and identify practical, achievable steps to move toward the life you want. Together, we’ll focus on what’s working, what you want to be different, and how to get there in a way that honors your experiences and priorities. Clients often leave sessions feeling more grounded, empowered, and equipped with clear, actionable tools to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
