Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Amy Markuson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adolescents and adults who find themselves stuck in cycles of overthinking, anxiety, self-doubt, or feeling overwhelmed by life's demands. Together, we focus on building practical tools, increasing self-understanding, and creating a path toward feeling more balanced, confident, and at peace.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), and credentialed as an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). In addition, I am trained in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), which equips me to offer evidence-based, collaborative, and supportive care for individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviors.

What you can expect from me

Having faced my own struggles, I understand how hard it can be to feel stuck while searching for the right support. That’s why I’m passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, make sense of your experiences, and discover tools that truly work for you.

Healing doesn’t have to be rushed; we’ll take it at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable. Together, we’ll focus on helping you reconnect with the present moment and build a sense of peace within yourself.
