Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s from Tulane University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Spanish from Vanderbilt. I help adults with stress, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, depression, and life changes, using a warm, empathetic, evidence-based approach. You’re the expert of your story, and I’m here to support your strengths and courage. Outside sessions, I’m a married parent of two teens, living on a farm with my animals, bringing real-world perspective to our work. Let’s find your path forward together!

My approach to therapy

I combine CBT and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help adults with anxiety and depression. We’ll identify the thoughts and habits keeping you stuck, practice practical skills you can use between sessions, and build on what’s already working. Sessions are structured and goal-focused, with regular check-ins so you can see your progress. I aim to be warm, direct, and encouraging.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing with anxiety or low mood, and a bit about your background, like your daily routine, relationships, and what’s helped or hasn’t in the past. I’ll also explain how confidentiality works and answer any questions you have about the process.

Most importantly, we’ll talk about what you want to be different. Together, we’ll set a few clear goals and sketch out a plan for how we’ll work toward them. You won’t be pushed to share more than you’re comfortable with, and you’re welcome to go at your own pace. Many people leave the first session feeling a sense of relief, and often with one small, practical step to try before we meet again.
