Great to meet you!

I have over 15 years of experience providing therapy to folks experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood & post-traumatic stress disorders. Most of my career I have provided therapy to survivors of sexual and relationship violence at nonprofit crisis centers. I approach each individual with cultural humility & openness. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am uniquely situated to validate and empower folx in our community to be their most authentic selves.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is holistic and tailored to each individual. I draw from Internal Family Systems, polyvagal theory, creative/arts-based expression, & mind-body healing. I have extensive training & experience in Mindfulness Based-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for C-PTSD & Prolongued Exposure and advanced training certificates in Early Childhood & Infant Mental Health, Special Education & Advanced Trauma Certificate from Lisa Ferentz Institute.

What you can expect from me

I am here to help. You deserve support and safety to grow and heal, but our world and relationships often seem to project the very opposite at us. Our sessions will be judgement-free zones where you learn/re-learn how valuable and capable you are! I can assist you in developing insight & coping strategies to address your particular struggles. My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help my clients become their own best therapists.
