Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over two decades of experience working with adults facing depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, and other life challenges. I believe people bring strengths and resilience to therapy even when they may have trouble seeing those qualities in themselves. My work has included both psychotherapy and community mental health, giving me experience with people facing a wide range of circumstances and levels of need.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, curious, and strengths-based. I want to understand not only what is difficult for you, but also what is working, what matters to you, and what you would like to change. I draw from cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches as well as motivational interviewing, and I believe therapy should lead to practical insights and changes that make a difference in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy, what's been happening in your life, and what you would like to be different. I'll ask questions and be curious about both the challenges you're facing and the strengths and resources you already have. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what your goals are—we can figure that out together and begin identifying some practical ways forward.
