Great to meet you!

Welcome, thank you for taking the next step to enhance your quality of life. I have been working in the mental health profession in various roles for more than 20 years. I earned my masters in counseling at NCCU and completed my pre-practicum with Hospice and practicum at a women's day shelter. I take an integrative approach to counseling incorporating client preferences and values to focus on short and long term goals. When not working, I love spending time with my 3 year old at the pool, crafting, reading, and creating kitchen projects.

My approach to therapy

I take a solution focused and behavioral change approach, as well as shifting the script in our mind. In order to feel different we must behave and think differently.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will gather information about your needs and preferences as well mental health history. We will work together to create one or two goals then figure out a plan that works best for you.
