Great to meet you!

I have spent most of my career working with children and families in community mental health, but I am now focusing on providing telehealth services for adults. My background includes extensive experience supporting individuals with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges. I am passionate about helping people navigate life transitions and overcome obstacles, and I strive to create a supportive and empowering environment for every client.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Oregon State Board. I completed my masters degree at Adams State University in Colorado.

My approach to therapy

I believe that success in therapy can never be achieved without trust and rapport. I work closely with clients in building a trusting and therapeutic relationship first. I also believe that change happens when a client is invested in that change. I use a Gestalt approach to treatment, confrontation when needed and challenging of thoughts and beliefs that support the behavior. Working together with clients leads to the best outcomes. I have training in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring my interventions to fit their unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based practices and have a strong foundation in trauma-informed care. I value autonomy and flexibility, both for myself as a practitioner and for my clients, and I am committed to fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and open communication.

What you can expect from me

Goals for clients are based on what my client wants to achieve in therapy. Clients are fully involved in treatment goals and outcomes. Autonomy in one's treatment is very important; you set the goal and outcome.
