Great to meet you!

For the past eighteen years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, children, and families across both clinical and K–12 educational settings. My professional journey has included roles as a Professional School Counselor, 504 Coordinator/Learning Specialist, and Clinical Therapist, giving me a unique understanding of how emotional, cognitive, and learning needs intersect.

Over time, my view of mental health has expanded. I’ve always been interested in nutrition, movement, sleep, and lifestyle as contributors to emotional wellness. But everything shifted when I began integrating mindfulness, contemplative practices, and a deeper exploration of hormone health—both personally and professionally. Understanding how hormones influence mood, stress, and cognition opened an entirely new dimension of care.

I now approach therapy through a whole-person lens that honors the connection between mind, body, hormones, and environment.

My approach to therapy

I’m especially well-suited to work with women who are ready to explore the mind-body connection, are open to a whole-person approach, and value authenticity within the therapeutic relationship. I believe healing is most meaningful when all parts of a person’s experience are acknowledged—emotional, physical, relational, and personal.

If you’re looking for a space that honors both your challenges and your capacity for growth, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. My goal is to create a supportive and genuine environment where you feel empowered to deepen self-understanding, strengthen resilience, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an important step in beginning our work together. It’s a chance for us to start building a connection, and for me to get to know you—not just your challenges, but also your goals, values, and strengths.

During this initial meeting, we’ll go through a formal intake process. I’ll ask a variety of questions about your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal history, any previous experiences with counseling, and your overall mental, emotional, and physical well-being. This helps me understand the bigger picture and tailor our work to best support you.

While it may feel like a lot at first, my goal is to create a safe, respectful space where you feel heard and supported. We’ll also talk about what you'd like to get out of therapy and begin identifying the direction we’ll take together. You’re welcome to ask questions, share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with, and let me know what you need to feel at ease.
